Despair all ye, who enter here
This is the story of 128 teenagers who, on a series of rainy mornings, made that incredible leap from their sheltered school lives & entered the gates of what, over the next four and a half (or more) years, would become their home - the much admired as well as maligned AFMC. It is a story of the years spent by their class in their alma mater, their hopes and expectations, what they are and where they are bound in the future. Some treated it as a wake up call preparing for that walk across the big stage of real life whereas for others, real life had just started there and they didn't want to miss a second of it.
Some amongst us have fallen by the way. They all died with honor and to this day command the respect and fond memories of the living.....
As the class passed out in large gushes, followed by dribs and drabs, they were spread to the four corners of the world. AFMC, MBBS and all the sights and smells of Pune, became the stuff of memories. But the one thing, which constantly tugged at our heart strings, pricked our consciences and crept into our dreams was

This page is a creation of those who felt that barriers of time and distance only remind you of one thing -
DISTANCE MAKES THE HEART GROW FONDER.
INTERNET MAKES THE WORLD SMALLER.
All of us who started communicating through email contributed in some way or the other. Some worked on the site, others dug out contact lists, photographs and music and sent it on. But the important thing was everyone was there. And as far as the mindset is concerned, all of us are probably still living in that time warp.
